Software Engineer, Offboard Infrastructure (Autonomous Driving)

Salary: $160,360–$240,540 per year, plus annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain software for hirify.global’s data platform, simulation systems, or technical infrastructure.
• Develop data management capabilities for labels, metrics, annotation, ingestion, mining, and autonomy evaluation.
• Build simulator components and frameworks, including sensor simulation, scenario generation, and real-world and synthetic data solutions.
• Develop distributed compute platforms, storage management services, cloud infrastructure, and engineering productivity tools.
• Collaborate with Autonomy and AI Platform teams to support reliable development, testing, and deployment of autonomous driving technology.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant industry experience and a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Go.
• Experience with one or more of the following: large-scale distributed systems, data storage and processing, modern microservice architecture, machine learning, multithreading, x86 architecture, or software performance optimization.
• Experience with robotics software frameworks or CPU, GPU, and FPGA compute modalities is relevant to the role.
