Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure (Robotics)

Base salary: $100,000–$300,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Architect, build, and maintain deployment software infrastructure and backend services for robotic products.
• Develop model training infrastructure, AI developer tools, and metrics dashboards.
• Lead the development of reliable software systems with robust testing, metrics, and logging.
• Write and review code, maintain documentation, create capacity plans, and debug software on robot hardware.
• Collaborate with machine learning, deployment, testing, and security engineers on technical roadmaps and system architecture.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain system reliability and resolve incidents quickly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or higher degree in computer science, robotics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience configuring and maintaining web servers, load balancers, relational databases, storage systems, and messaging systems.
• Knowledge of Linux fundamentals, memory management, and the kernel.
• Experience with enterprise security and learning new software, frameworks, and APIs.
