Sr. Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote. hirify.global offices are located in New York City and San Francisco, and the company fully supports remote work.

Salary: $180K–$230K base compensation, with the range applying to New York City staff and potentially varying by location.

hirify.global is a Series C fintech and SaaS company building an AI-native operating system for regulated finance, starting with mortgage servicing.

What you will do

• Define and evolve product security architecture for hirify.globalOS, a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Design and implement customer-facing security capabilities, including authentication, authorization, identity integration, access controls, audit logging, encryption, and key management.
• Build security reference architectures and standardized secure design patterns for product teams.
• Lead threat modeling, security design reviews, and security-focused code reviews for new features and architectural changes.
• Design AI-assisted workflows and evaluate risks across internal and external AI-powered applications.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Compliance, and Legal on vulnerability remediation, regulatory requirements, incident response, and security risk reduction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering focused on product, application, and/or cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing cloud environments, preferably GCP, and modern application infrastructure.
• Experience with SaaS IAM and tenant security, including RBAC, SSO/SAML/OIDC, SCIM, MFA, and audit logs.
• Expertise in APIs, service-to-service authentication, encryption, KMS/CMEK, logging, and monitoring.
• Experience leading threat modeling, security design reviews, and security-focused code reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSK, or CCSP are valued.

• Prior software engineering experience or Python coding ability.
