Remote Digital Strategist

Location: 100% remote; applicants from around the world are welcome. The role requires availability from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday.

Salary: $17–$35 per hour for candidates located in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado. Compensation may vary for candidates outside these states.

What you will do

• Follow up with prospective clients and learn about their businesses, goals, products, and services.
• Advise clients on website design, development, eCommerce, SEO, Google Ads, social media, email marketing, and online marketing solutions.
• Develop proposals, contracts, and detailed scopes of work with actionable strategies for internal teams.
• Identify account growth and upselling opportunities through relevant recommendations.
• Support client implementation and handoffs from sales to production teams and project managers.
• Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and internal strategy discussions while maintaining sales forecasts and tracking updates.

Requirements

• Online marketing experience, including SEO, Google Ads, social media marketing, and email marketing.
• Experience with a website or eCommerce platform such as WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, or BigCommerce.
• Strong client-facing communication, presentation, advisory, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English with a confident and authoritative speaking presence.
• Ability to explain development processes and technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Availability for 40 hours per week during Pacific Time business hours and a reliable remote workstation with stable internet and power.

Nice to have

• HTML and CSS familiarity.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and Google Workspace experience.
• Experience preparing sales proposals, contracts, scopes of work, or client strategy documents.
• Experience with CRM, sales tracking, forecasting, or project management tools.
• Experience using multiple monitors for remote productivity.
