What you will do

• Represent TD Insurance through oral and written advocacy before the License Appeal Tribunal of Tribunals Ontario.
• Handle litigation files from application through resolution.
• Draft legal documents and instruments using legal research and knowledge of relevant procedures.
• Analyze medical records, financial productions, and applicant materials to provide assessments and updates.
• Maintain case files and applicable databases while handling confidential information with discretion.
• Communicate with clients, external counsel, and dispute resolution specialists to gather information and provide legal support.

Requirements

• Completion of a recognized college paralegal program.
• Current paralegal license from the Law Society of Ontario.
• At least one year of practical experience with License Appeal Tribunal files.
• Experience mentoring, managing, or overseeing paralegals and junior lawyers on LAT files.
• Employment is subject to applicable provincial or territorial regulations in Canada.
