Study Start-Up Specialist (Clinical Research)

What you will do

• Serve as the primary Tempus contact for just-in-time and expedited clinical trial site activations.
• Coordinate with TIME sites, sponsors, pharmaceutical companies, and CRO partners to activate studies and support patient enrollment.
• Collaborate with the central IRB team to facilitate review and approval.
• Educate sites and sponsors on activation processes, best practices, and ongoing activation activities.
• Support feasibility assessments, activations, and other study start-up activities.
• Develop products, services, workflows, and marketing collateral that improve efficiency across the study start-up and TIME teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science or a health-related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a clinical research coordinator in oncology or at a pharmaceutical company or CRO.
• Strong understanding of study start-up and clinical trial site activation.
• Knowledge of current FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practice, and HIPAA compliance.
• Strong project management, organization, communication, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• CCRC certification.
