AI Engineer

Location: Warren, NJ (hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 remote)

Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and develop AI models with a robust statistical foundation and ensure scalability for integration into existing systems.
• Create and use metrics to evaluate AI model performance, and continuously monitor and refine models for accuracy.
• Analyze large datasets to extract insights and patterns, and validate models against benchmarks and datasets.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to align AI solutions with business objectives and communicate recommendations to non-technical teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, data science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in AI model development and deployment.
• Strong statistical background (statistics and probability) and ability to apply statistical methods to real-world data.
• Proficiency in machine learning algorithms and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Expertise in Python and/or R for data analysis and model development; familiarity with SQL and database technologies.
• Experience working with insurance datasets (claims and underwriting data) and understanding of industry-specific challenges and regulatory requirements.
