Project Engineer (Field Application Engineering)

What you will do

• Own field deployments from planning through execution, completion, and post-deployment follow-up.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, logistics, and customer stakeholders to deliver projects on time.
• Build and track project plans, timelines, milestones, tasks, issues, and workflows using Jira or similar tools.
• Coordinate shipping, equipment readiness, inventory, travel, and site setup.
• Serve as the primary on-site or customer-facing contact during deployments.
• Identify risks, resolve or escalate issues, document outcomes and lessons learned, and improve deployment efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in project management, field operations, or technical program execution.
• Experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, communication, problem-solving, and accountability skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments and coordinate equipment logistics, shipping, inventory, schedules, and site readiness.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotics, hardware systems, field testing, or startup environments.
• Basic technical understanding of sensors, systems, or data collection workflows.
• Experience in customer-facing or field deployment roles.
