Robotics Technician (Robotics)

What you will do

• Repair and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, power supplies, sensors, motors, and control systems.
• Repair and maintain mechanical components such as actuators, gearboxes, bearings, and other moving parts.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, alignments, calibrations, and diagnostic testing on robotic units.
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, PLCs, and specialized equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Document repairs, part replacements, and maintenance activities in Linear and Notion.
• Provide hardware engineering feedback on repairability, component standardization, maintainability, safety, and compliance.

Requirements

• Associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, robotics, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably in robotics, automation, or a related industry.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC motors, wiring, controllers, gears, bearings, and other electrical and mechanical components.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and industrial-grade equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as ASE, NATE, IPC, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with robotics systems, automation technologies, and fleet management tools.
• Experience in a fast-moving startup or research environment.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
