Robot Fleet Integration Engineer

What you will do

• Own the successful integration of robot platforms into the fleet across electrical, mechanical, and software interfaces.
• Define acceptance tests, criteria, metrics, and documented test plans.
• Execute fleet acceptance testing and analyze results to determine whether robot units are ready for integration.
• Monitor fleet platform health and performance, and create bring-up procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Own MTBF for integrated platforms and lead reliability-focused design improvements.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, runtime, and forward-deployed robotics engineering teams to resolve interface issues.

Requirements

• B.S. in Robotics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience integrating robot systems across multiple hardware and software disciplines.
• Experience with system verification and validation testing, test execution, and technical data analysis.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software interactions in robotic systems.
• Knowledge of actuators, PCBs, cameras, wiring harnesses, and communication hardware.
• Ability to build integration tooling, scripts, and automated tests, with strong technical documentation and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating mobile manipulators, humanoid platforms, or other complex multi-DOF robotic systems.
• Familiarity with Python, ROS, automated test execution, and data pipelines.
• Experience in a zero-to-one or early-stage fleet or operations environment.
