Pre-Analytic Supervisor (Precision Medicine)

Location: Onsite in Chicago, Monday–Friday, 11:00am–7:30pm

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 annually for Chicago; the range may vary by location.

What you will do

• Manage sample return workflows, staff scheduling, workload prioritization, and operational needs for a growing laboratory.
• Assign and prioritize activities to ensure team and individual goals are met.
• Maintain quality and regulatory compliance, documenting deviations from established procedures.
• Hire, train, coach, review, recognize, and take corrective action for accessioning staff.
• Audit LIMS reports daily to verify timely and accurate sample processing.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and improve processes for greater accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5+ years of experience in a clinical field.
• Highly organized, systematic, detail-oriented, and able to complete work accurately.
• Strong problem-resolution and decision-making skills for operational and technical issues.
• Experience in a laboratory or corporate supervisory role and collaboration with managers at different levels.
• Ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to new processes.
• Strong communication skills across teams and functions.
