TL;DR
FP&A and Controlling Specialist (Finance/AI SaaS): Building Dust's financial backbone across accounting oversight, management reporting, integrated financial modeling, and AI-augmented Finance workflows with an accent on scalable controls, forecasting, and financial architecture. Focus on designing models and reporting systems from scratch, automating repetitive Finance processes, and deploying Finance agents on the Dust platform.
Location: Paris, France; office-first and primarily in-person

What you will do
- Drive the month-end close with external accounting firms in France and the US, reviewing entries, accruals, and period accuracy.
- Own the accounting-to-reporting bridge, including the chart of accounts and analytical mapping.
- Identify accounting risks involving revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and capitalized development costs.
- Design the integrated financial model covering P&L, cash flow, headcount planning, unit economics, and metrics.
- Build the annual budget process, support quarterly forecasting and business reviews, and perform scenario analysis.
- Build, test, and deploy Finance agents on to automate reconciliations, reporting drafts, variance commentary, and data validation.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of Finance experience, progressing from accounting foundations toward FP&A and finance.
- Experience with both month-end close or controlling and forward-looking planning.
- Strong financial modeling skills, with the ability to build models from scratch.
- Data literacy, including comfort with SQL or willingness to learn and experience with Data and BI tools such as Metabase or Snowflake.
- Experience building Finance processes in a scaling environment where formal processes did not yet exist.
- Ability to work primarily in person from the Paris office.
Nice to have
- Background in an AI or SaaS company.
- Understanding of ARR, churn, CAC, and software revenue recognition.
- Genuine interest in AI and AI-augmented Finance.
