Senior Software Engineer Focusing on Frontend (React/TypeScript)

Location: Seattle HQ, United States; hybrid

Salary: $166,250–$183,750 base pay annually, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Implement new features from product specifications and Figma designs.
• Build responsive and accessible interfaces across devices and browsers.
• Develop frontend features for the reporting application, billing system, native Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams note-taking apps, and browser extensions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on scalable and maintainable APIs.
• Improve frontend code quality, testing practices, and performance optimization.
• Provide product feedback and drive assigned product workstreams forward.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred, with 5–7+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Advanced frontend development experience with TypeScript and React.
• Strong knowledge of modern web development and responsive design.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring developers and working with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.

Nice to have

• Backend experience with Python, FastAPI, or Postgres.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, and orchestration tools.
• Experience with Jest, Vitest, or Cypress.
• Startup experience or involvement in open-source projects and technical communities.
