Product Engineer (AI)

Product Engineer (AI/Fullstack): Building end-to-end software agents and an AI-native IDE with an accent on agent UX and performant developer experiences. Focus on creating interaction patterns for AI agents and solving hard engineering problems across IDE, web, and CLI surfaces.

What you will do

• Own features end-to-end, from implementation to gathering user feedback from developers.
• Craft fast and effortless interfaces across IDE, web, and CLI surfaces.
• Define new interaction patterns and conventions for how developers collaborate with AI agents.
• Develop the core agent loop, tool use, and the infrastructure powering the agent harness.
• Solve complex engineering challenges to eliminate technical walls in the developer experience.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack engineering depth with a natural instinct for product quality.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and React in complex production environments.
• Ability to make independent product decisions without extensive sign-off.
• Obsession with UX details, including micro-interactions and response times.
• BS, MS, or equivalent in CS, Mathematics, or Engineering from a highly selective university.

Nice to have

• Experience building developer tools, IDEs, or technical products for engineers.
• Prior experience at a frontier AI lab, applied AI company, or developer tools company.
