Field Application Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas, United States; fully onsite. Frequent travel across the country is required.

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year, dependent on experience, with full benefits and equity.

What you will do

• Deploy and operate drones, quadrupeds, humanoid robots, and other robotic systems in the field.
• Support testing, data collection, remote operations, client presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Translate complex technical topics between engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document technical issues, test results, and client feedback.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and improve field workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and usability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the United States.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in team-based environments.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with drones, quadrupeds, humanoid robots, or similar robotics hardware.
• Familiarity with electronics, sensors, and robotic subsystems.
• Basic Python, C++, or similar coding and scripting skills.
• Experience with field testing, remote operations, or client-facing technical roles.
