Senior Platform Engineer - Cloud & Developer Experience (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, build, and own the AWS cloud foundation, including accounts, networking, identity, and core services.
• Define reproducible, reviewed, version-controlled infrastructure with Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Build self-service platform tooling and golden paths for engineers and researchers to provision, deploy, and ship safely.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and the deployment platform for models and SDKs across cloud and customer environments.
• Embed security into the platform through access control, secrets management, least-privilege defaults, network segmentation, and private connectivity.
• Establish platform standards, observability, alerting, and cost visibility while supporting research workflows at scale.

Requirements

• Production experience designing and operating AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Production experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, cloud networking, VPCs, segmentation, DNS, load balancing, and ingress/egress controls.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Flux, or equivalent technologies.
• Ability to implement access control, secrets management, and least-privilege security in code.
• Solid software engineering skills in Python, Go, or a comparable language, plus a platform-as-a-product mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud GPU compute for ML training or exposure to HPC, SLURM, InfiniBand, and bare-metal GPUs.
• Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Loki, or similar observability stacks.
• Background in pharma, biotech, healthcare, or regulated-data environments.
• Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR controls, open-source projects, or fast-scaling startups.
