Senior Quality Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and maintain testing systems for both deterministic logic and AI-influenced, non-deterministic behavior.
• Integrate validation workflows directly into CI and release pipelines.
• Engage early with engineering teams to promote testability and surface risks before implementation.
• Expand verification approaches beyond unit tests into integration, system, stress, and full workflow testing.
• Build tools and libraries to generate stable, repeatable test conditions for complex scenarios.
• Enhance observability and logging to shorten the path from failure to root cause.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience evaluating systems powered by LLMs, AI pipelines, or other probabilistic technologies.
• Proficiency with Python and modern test frameworks in containerized environments.
• Demonstrated success designing automated test suites across a contemporary application stack.
• Strong investigative instincts for identifying root causes and preventing recurrence.
• Early-stage startup mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
• Background in container orchestration (Kubernetes, GitLab pipelines, ArgoCD).
• Familiarity with React and TypeScript.
• Interest in security-focused testing and cybersecurity practices.
