Research Engineer - World Models (AI)

Location: Onsite in Downtown San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 per year

What you will do

• Build real-time AI gaming companions that learn, plan, understand game worlds, and play alongside humans.
• Research and develop world models based on approaches such as Dreamer, V-JEPA, Genie, AlphaStar, SIMA, Voyager, and MineDojo.
• Train and evaluate machine learning models.
• Implement recent research from leading AI labs and conferences.
• Ship trained models into production rather than only integrating APIs.

Requirements

• Research-led experience in reinforcement learning, imitation learning, or sequential decision-making.
• Experience with world models or related research.
• Ability to read and implement recent AI research.
• Experience training, evaluating, and shipping machine learning models.

Nice to have

• Top machine learning or artificial intelligence publications.
