Senior PA/QA Engineer (Space)

What you will do

• Support the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) across projects and regulatory requirements.
• Provide hands-on Product and Quality Assurance support from early planning through launch and operations.
• Define and apply internal hirify.global standards while aligning mission development with customer expectations.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to implement quality processes and resolve quality issues.
• Monitor ISO9001 and EN9100 compliance, and participate in audits, reviews, inspections, and certification activities.
• Support risk management, quality metrics, technical reporting, stakeholder communication, and customer interactions.

Requirements

• Extensive product and quality assurance experience in the space sector.
• Proven leadership in managing quality standards, process improvements, and regulatory compliance for space missions.
• Strong knowledge of international standards, including ISO9001 and EN9100, with the ability to interpret and apply ECSS standards.
• Direct experience with the design, manufacture, and qualification of spaceflight hardware.
• Expertise in maintaining Quality Management Systems.
• Experience writing technical documentation.
• Experience in supplier management and company-wide risk management.
• Experience leading teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety).
• Familiarity with radiation, EEE parts, and materials and processes.
