Associate Consultant, Maximo (ERP)

Location: Home-based or hybrid in Canada; locations include Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta. Some travel to client sites may be required, up to 50% per year.

What you will do

• Support IBM Maximo implementation projects under the guidance of senior consultants.
• Work with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Configure IBM Maximo to meet client-specific requirements.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Prepare business requirements, functional and technical specifications, test cases, and user training guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using standardized software development lifecycle methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, C#, or another programming language.
• Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.

Nice to have

• Understanding of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Intermediate or stronger SQL skills.
• Knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, or containerized applications.
• Experience with Power BI, Talend, Selenium, or Microsoft SSIS.
• Co-op, internship, or industry experience gained during post-secondary education.
