Sage Intacct Designer (ERP)

Location: Remote within Canada; part-time contract work during normal business hours with flexibility.

What you will do

• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate business processes into functional Sage Intacct designs.
• Configure Sage Intacct modules, customized reports, dashboards, and workflows.
• Develop and implement integrations with other systems.
• Test solutions and perform quality assurance to verify accuracy and functionality.
• Train and support end users while recommending system improvements and optimizations.
• Collaborate with accounting, IT, operations, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Previous experience with Sage Intacct or comparable financial management software; strong proficiency in Sage Intacct is required.
• Deep understanding of Sage Intacct modules, customization, reporting, and integration capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial management processes, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, reporting, and budgeting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and maintain high attention to detail.
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or IT is preferred; Sage Intacct or accounting certifications are advantageous.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SQL, scripting languages, and data integration tools.
• Sage Intacct certifications or other accounting certifications.
