What you will do

• Research, prototype, and validate new machine learning opportunities before engineering implementation.
• Build prediction and clustering models using supervised and unsupervised learning methods.
• Own the data science and algorithm lifecycle from initial idea through production deployment.
• Monitor feature and prediction drift, configure alerting, and retrain models as data changes.
• Explain model logic, tradeoffs, and results to engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Build selected production solutions with LLMs and multimodal models.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Strong Python, SQL, Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch skills.
• BSc in mathematics, computer science, statistics, or another exact science.
• Experience running models in production, including drift analysis, alerting, and model updates.
• Familiarity with the MLOps lifecycle and AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
• Working knowledge of prompt engineering and building solutions with LLMs or multimodal models; ability to work independently on abstract problems.

Nice to have

• Experience with routing and navigation algorithms.
• Experience with Vertex AI or an equivalent cloud ML platform for training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Experience engineering geospatial features such as geohashing, latitude/longitude, ZIP-code and polygon-based features, or geofencing.
