Working Student (Hardware Project Coordination & Documentation) (Hardware)

Location: Munich / Unterschleißheim, Germany; primarily on-site at the G+D IoT Solutions site with some remote flexibility

What you will do

• Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, decisions, and action tracking in Confluence and Jira.
• Prepare quality-gate milestones by tracking deliverables, evidence links, and readiness status.
• Maintain the RAID log covering risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions.
• Prepare presentations, status updates, and board briefings for the Project Manager and steering audiences.
• Track cross-functional actions across engineering, certifications, production, quality, procurement, and external partners.
• Follow up on open actions, flag potential delays, and explore AI tools and process automation for better efficiency and documentation quality.

Requirements

• Enrolled student, ideally at Master's level, in Industrial Engineering or a related field, with at least 12 months of enrollment remaining.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of hardware product development, including ATEX certification, bills of materials, testing, production processes, and supplier coordination.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, structured, reliable, and proactive working style.
• Excellent English and good German communication skills, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PRINCE2, Product Lifecycle Management, or Quality Gate milestone logic.
• Interest in product certification, industrialization, hardware development, or AI-based tools.
