Senior Business Manager, Pets (m/f/d)

hirify.global develops child-safety, mobility, furniture, and lifestyle products for parents and is expanding into the Pets category.

What you will do

• Build and shape the hirify.global Pets business category, including its strategy, product portfolio, and long-term roadmap.
• Analyze consumer needs, market opportunities, competitors, and emerging trends to identify product and growth opportunities.
• Develop business cases and guide new products, portfolio extensions, and strategic initiatives from concept to market launch.
• Own portfolio forecasting, KPIs, sales, and profitability performance, using market and customer insights to optimize the business.
• Coordinate Design, Development, Quality, Sourcing, Operations, Marketing, and Sales around priorities, milestones, risks, and launch readiness.
• Support product positioning through product stories, sales tools, customer engagement, training, sell-in activities, and go-to-market execution.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in Product Management, Category Management, Business Development, Go-to-Market, Sales, Marketing, or a similar commercial role.
• Experience building, launching, or scaling a product category, brand, business unit, or growth initiative; Pets industry experience is preferred.
• Ability to translate market and consumer insights into product and growth strategies.
• Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers, and sourcing teams, including costing, product quality, and commercialization.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives, with strong analytical, commercial, project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and German is required.

Nice to have

• International sourcing and manufacturing experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, Product Management, Engineering, Design, or a related field.
• Additional language skills.
