IAM Consultant/Developer (Microsoft Entra ID) - Contract

What you will do

• Audit existing identity environments, including on-premises Active Directory and third-party identity providers, and design the target Microsoft Entra ID architecture.
• Plan and execute phased or staged identity migrations and cutovers while minimizing disruption to live services.
• Configure hybrid identity synchronization with Microsoft Entra Connect or Entra Cloud Sync.
• Implement MFA, Conditional Access, passwordless authentication, and Zero Trust security controls.
• Integrate enterprise applications using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC, and establish identity governance with PIM, access packages, and Access Reviews.
• Monitor sign-in and audit logs, troubleshoot migration issues, and prepare documentation and operational runbooks for handover.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering migrations to Microsoft Entra ID from on-premises AD DS or third-party identity providers such as Okta, Ping, or ForgeRock.
• Strong knowledge of Conditional Access, Zero Trust security models, and modern authentication protocols.
• Confident PowerShell scripting for identity lifecycle automation, ideally using the Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK.
• Ability to work independently and communicate migration risks and status to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with KQL, Microsoft Sentinel, or Azure Monitor for log analysis.
• Experience with Entra ID B2B or B2C.
• Background with ForgeRock, Ping, or Okta.
• SC-300, SC-100, SC-500, or CISSP certification.
