Programme Manager (eCommerce)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid work with office attendance an average of four days a week

What you will do

• Lead delivery across complex programmes, ensuring scope, quality, budget, timelines, and business-case benefits are achieved.
• Manage programme risks, dependencies, governance, reporting, and ways of working throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Coordinate multiple project teams and workstreams, supporting project managers and providing line management where required.
• Build resource plans, track resource requests, and coordinate fulfilment with internal and external teams.
• Partner with clients and stakeholders to define programme visions, plans, governance, and delivery outcomes.
• Manage third-party vendors and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least six years of software application development project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple teams and workstreams, including teams of at least 20 people in a management role.
• Proven delivery of ecommerce migration or re-platforming programmes and medium-to-large fixed-price projects.
• Minimum three years of experience working in Agile environments, with knowledge of Scrum and Kanban and experience transitioning organisations from Waterfall to Agile.
• Strong skills in stakeholder, risk, resource, budget, commercial, negotiation, communication, and relationship management.
• Experience managing project managers, third-party vendors, software development lifecycles, and release management; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience with contract negotiations.
• BA/BS degree in information management, marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
