Senior Manager - Key Programme Lead

What you will do

• Shape major bids with sales, solution, commercial and delivery teams, ensuring commitments are realistic, executable and aligned with customer outcomes.
• Represent delivery credibility in customer-facing pre-sales activity, including executive engagement, solution shaping and mobilisation planning.
• Provide delivery sign-off covering scope, assumptions, dependencies, resources, timelines, governance and commercial obligations.
• Lead the handover from bid to delivery and own mobilisation, governance and measurable outcomes across complex Transition and Transformation programmes.
• Direct programme teams, manage risks and issues, and communicate progress, decisions and next steps to customers and senior stakeholders.
• Maintain delivery compliance with BT policies, governance, assurance, security and risk requirements while building inclusive, high-performing teams.

Requirements

• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance
• Extensive experience leading complex programmes from mobilisation through delivery and transition.
• Experience working across new business, sales, solution, commercial and delivery functions to shape and assure customer commitments.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence influencing senior customers, executives and cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing commercial obligations, governance, risks, dependencies, budgets and delivery resources across large-scale programmes.

• Strong financial management skills, including budget control, investment oversight, cost management and profitability.
• Experience with requirements management, change control, programme assurance and reporting frameworks.
