QA Automation Engineer

Location: Whippany, New Jersey, onsite or hybrid from Day 1

Salary: $55,786–$65,295 base compensation per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated test solutions using Core Java, Selenium, and REST Assured.
• Build and enhance scalable UI and API automation frameworks, including architecture, reporting, execution strategies, and test data management.
• Create and troubleshoot XPath and CSS selectors and maintain UI automation scripts.
• Design API automation tests and integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams, participate in code reviews, and improve testing efficiency and product quality.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in quality engineering and test automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, including OOP concepts, collections, exception handling, data structures, and algorithms.
• Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, XPath locators, and REST Assured.
• Experience designing or enhancing enterprise automation frameworks and working with Git.
• Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Nice to have

• Experience with Playwright, TestNG, Maven or Gradle, and reporting frameworks.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms and containerized execution environments.
• Understanding of performance and integration testing concepts.
