Cables Production Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Wrexham, United Kingdom. Onsite role based at the Wrexham Industrial Estate manufacturing site.

What you will do

• Lead the manufacturing team and deliver operational targets within budget and timescale.
• Coordinate Logistics, Maintenance, Engineering, and QSHE support functions to align priorities and goals.
• Maintain safety, environmental, quality, compliance, and zero-harm standards across manufacturing areas.
• Monitor OEE, labour efficiency, volume planning, schedule adherence, customer delivery performance, and inventory.
• Develop and implement lean and continuous improvement activities while reducing conversion costs and improving right-first-time performance.
• Motivate, engage, train, and develop the manufacturing team in line with site standards and procedures.

Requirements

• Ideally educated to degree level in a technical or engineering discipline.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and encourage others through active leadership.
• Determined and decisive problem-solving ability with methodical planning, analysis, organisation, and monitoring skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise personal and team workloads.
• Numerate, detail-conscious, and able to work with confidential information.
