What you will do

• Develop enterprise perspectives on the competitive landscape and its strategic implications.
• Translate competitor activity, market developments, and industry shifts into clear, actionable narratives for senior stakeholders.
• Lead forward-looking analyses that identify risks, opportunities, and strategic choices.
• Partner with Product, Distribution, Corporate Strategy, Market Insights, and Consumer Insights.
• Build and maintain competitive profiles for key accounts and strategic partners.
• Prepare briefing materials, support external interactions, and help evolve Competitive Insights frameworks and publications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in corporate or business strategy, insights, market research, equity research, or consulting.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize disparate inputs into coherent strategic perspectives.
• Ability to turn complex and ambiguous analysis into clear narratives for senior executives.
• Strong ownership, independent execution, sound business judgment, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring or developing junior team members.

Nice to have

• Six or more years of relevant experience.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or advising financial services clients.
• Graduate degree or a relevant professional designation.
• Working knowledge of life insurance, annuity, or retirement products.
• Familiarity with LIMRA, AM Best, S&P, and related industry data sources.
