Senior Smart Contract Engineer (Web3)

Location: Remote in Taiwan

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain production-grade smart contracts across EVM and Solana ecosystems using Solidity and Rust.
• Develop backend services and integration layers that connect deployed smart contracts with internal systems.
• Build transaction orchestration flows, event listeners, and indexing services bridging on-chain and off-chain components.
• Research and apply design patterns and emerging practices in smart contract and distributed systems engineering.
• Optimize gas efficiency and performance while applying defensive coding and secure architecture practices.
• Partner with protocol, infrastructure, and security engineering teams on audits, threat modeling, remediation, upgrades, and production monitoring.

Requirements

• Production-grade smart contract development in Solidity and/or Rust, with strong knowledge of security, gas optimization, and performance.
• Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, EIP standards, decentralized systems, and on-chain execution models.
• Knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities, including reentrancy, access control flaws, and arithmetic errors.
• Experience with Foundry, Hardhat, or Anchor for smart contract development and testing.
• Backend development experience with transaction submission, event processing, indexing, and integration with off-chain infrastructure.
• Experience designing and deploying scalable cloud services using AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or similar platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping or operating multi-chain or cross-chain smart contract systems.
• Experience in Web3 fintech or DeFi environments.
• Experience contributing to or auditing open-source smart contracts or blockchain protocols.
• Experience developing smart contracts for non-EVM chains.
