About the Role

You will design, implement, and optimize core protocol components, including consensus mechanisms, state synchronization, replication, and mempool transaction propagation. You will build fault-tolerant distributed systems in Rust, improve throughput, reliability, and latency, collaborate on protocol designs, resolve live distributed-systems issues, and contribute to testing, benchmarks, and safe releases.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize core protocol components
• Build high-performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems in Rust
• Improve system throughput, reliability, and latency at scale
• Partner with research and product teams to iterate protocol designs
• Debug and resolve complex distributed-systems challenges in live environments
• Contribute to engineering standards for testing, benchmarks, and safe releases
