Senior Software Engineer (Blockchain)

What you will do

• Design and improve high-volume transaction broadcasting pipelines, including lifecycle management, retries, rebroadcasting, and recovery of stuck transactions.
• Contribute to wallet infrastructure and automation with safe parallel transaction handling, monitoring, observability, and operational guardrails.
• Build cross-chain and DeFi infrastructure for multi-step fiat-to-on-chain and on-chain-to-fiat flows.
• Design state machines and recovery strategies for partial failures, while supporting routing, swap execution, liquidity, price impact, slippage, and MEV considerations.
• Build reliable off-chain services that interact with on-chain contracts and maintain thoroughly tested, performant code.
• Participate in planning, incident response, post-mortems, and continuous improvements to reliability and system resilience.

Requirements

• Strong backend and platform engineering fundamentals.
• Experience operating production systems with real uptime requirements.
• Hands-on experience interacting with live blockchain networks in production.
• Clear understanding of the transaction lifecycle and failure recovery in at least one blockchain.
• Ability to reason about failure modes rather than only happy paths.
• Experience with high-throughput or financial systems, wallet infrastructure, or custody systems is strongly valued.

Nice to have

• Experience at exchanges, custody providers, wallet infrastructure teams, or high-volume DeFi platforms.
• Familiarity with UTXO-based chains, coin selection, and fee-bumping strategies such as RBF and CPFP.
• Experience designing cross-chain or multi-step transaction orchestration systems.
• Familiarity with blockchain indexing, event ingestion pipelines, ERC-20, SPL, and backend interaction with smart contracts.
