Mechanical Project Manager (AI Data Center)

What you will do

• Lead the planning and execution of mechanical infrastructure projects across the AI data center campus.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, validation, and handover of HVAC, chilled water, cooling distribution, plumbing, fire protection, and related systems.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, commissioning teams, and multidisciplinary engineering stakeholders.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, equipment schedules, method statements, technical submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Monitor risks, safety, quality, costs, progress, and technical issues, and prepare project and executive status reports.

Requirements

• Experience managing mechanical construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in data centers, industrial facilities, or other mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, cooling infrastructure, chilled water systems, pumps, heat exchangers, and other critical mechanical systems.
• Experience managing mechanical contractors, consultants, suppliers, and engineering teams.
• Knowledge of mechanical construction, commissioning, testing, validation, inspections, and acceptance procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, equipment schedules, and technical documentation.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary M&E interfaces, including mechanical and electrical systems, together with strong project and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale data centers or AI infrastructure projects.
• Experience with high-density cooling solutions for GPU-based computing environments.
• Familiarity with international data center standards and commissioning practices.
• Experience with large-scale construction projects involving complex mechanical systems.
