Senior Security Compliance Engineer (AI)

Location: Spain; hybrid work in Barcelona with 2 days per week from the hub. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Barcelona area.

What you will do

• Design, build, and scale privacy-aware compliance systems across the technology organization.
• Embed privacy by design into products, platforms, operational workflows, and data flows.
• Build Python tools, services, and automations supporting data subject rights, data lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance.
• Operate secure and scalable privacy systems in AWS and orchestrate workflows with Temporal or similar platforms.
• Use SQL to archive, purge, locate, review, and document data for privacy requirements.
• Partner with Security, Legal, Engineering, Product, and Player Experience teams to assess risks, implement controls, and deliver compliance enhancements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in information security, privacy, compliance, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with Python, backend systems, security, data engineering, or data architecture.
• Experience with AWS, cloud architectures, Temporal or similar workflow orchestration tools, APIs, JSON, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of privacy engineering, privacy by design, data subject rights, data lifecycle controls, and GDPR.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, or COBIT frameworks and experience working cross-functionally with Legal, Security, Product, and Engineering.
• Experience building or using AI-enabled tools for GRC processes, including regulatory monitoring, documentation, and control oversight.

Nice to have

• Experience with DSR, DSAR, or privacy operations platforms.
• Graduate-level study in privacy engineering.
• Experience in gaming, entertainment, consumer technology, or internationally distributed teams.
• Certifications such as CIPT, CIPP, CIPM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or FAIR.
