Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (International)

Location: Remote UK

Salary: £120,000–£168,000 per year

What you will do

• Own and deliver quarterly team goals, leading engineers through ambiguous and open-ended problems.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on ideation, technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
• Identify and resolve project, process, technology, and business issues.
• Create and monitor operational metrics, support availability, and contribute to on-call and keep-the-lights-on efforts.
• Set and improve code review and design standards, sharing practices through writing and technical talks.
• Develop team talent through feedback, guidance, and technical leadership.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Experience shipping web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Ability to use AI effectively to deliver high-quality products on a daily basis.
• Experience defining technical plans, designing extensible system components, and making significant changes safely in large codebases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
