Reports Developer (Power BI)

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $70,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Analyze existing Informer reports, including their business logic, data sources, and intended use.
• Rebuild self-service reports in Report Center (Prism) and custom reports and data models in Power BI.
• Write and optimize SQL queries across Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Validate migrated reports against their Informer originals for data accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, prioritize the migration backlog, and manage expectations.
• Document report logic and data lineage while identifying opportunities to simplify and improve reporting.

Requirements

• Experience building reports or dashboards in Power BI, Sigma, or a similar BI tool.
• Strong SQL skills with Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Ability to translate business reporting requirements into technical report designs.
• Ability to work independently with limited documentation and clarify missing information.
• Experience managing a migration-style project with a defined backlog of reports.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SSIS or Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity with Report Center or Prism.
• Experience with HRP systems, HR data models, data migration, or legacy system decommissioning.
• Experience integrating AI tools into reporting or data workflows.
