What you will do

• Lead technical direction, architecture, and best practices for developer experience features and infrastructure.
• Build automation, APIs, and frameworks to reduce toil and enable scalable developer workflows.
• Develop, deploy, and scale GenAI/ML solutions and models in production, partnering with Applied Scientists.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct design reviews, and solve complex challenges with Principal Engineers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand requirements, define roadmaps, and influence partner teams.
• Present designs and results to leadership while ensuring operational excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional software development experience
• 5+ years programming in at least one language
• 5+ years leading design/architecture for reliability and scaling
• Experience mentoring, tech leading, or leading engineering teams
• Experience developing/deploying LLMs in production on GPUs, Neuron, TPU or AI hardware
• Experience with ML/LLM fundamentals: architecture, training/inference, optimization

Nice to have

• 5+ years full software development lifecycle experience (coding standards, reviews, builds, testing, operations).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
