Senior Architect

Location: On-site in Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo, Michigan

hirify.global is partnering with a collaborative design studio integrating architecture, interior design, and experiential branding into human-centered projects.

What you will do

• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, graphic designers, clients, and consultants throughout project development.
• Lead the technical development of projects, translating creative concepts into detailed, buildable solutions.
• Organize teams to produce high-quality design and construction documents.
• Prepare and coordinate comprehensive drawings, specifications, plans, sections, and construction details.
• Explain design decisions and technical concepts to project stakeholders.
• Mentor team members and develop studio processes, standards, and templates.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related architectural experience.
• Professional degree in Architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction methods.
• Experience leading documentation teams and coordinating with consultants.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, mentoring, and technical teaching skills.

Nice to have

• Professional architectural licensure or progress toward licensure exams.
• Experience with Deltek Spec Point or Masterspec.
• Interest in human-centered design and continuous professional development.
