Quality Assurance Senior Software Engineer

Salary: $170,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute sophisticated test scripts to certify system changes for production.
• Create expert-level test plans, requirement specifications, technical reports, and process workflows.
• Develop and maintain secure, accurate test control databases and distribute test data for unit testing.
• Build, document, and run automated test scripts and procedures to improve testing efficiency.
• Lead regression testing, track defects through resolution, and communicate testing plans and results to analysts and programmers.
• Manage Release Management for baseline IT infrastructure and drive quality process improvements throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Recognized authority-level experience in quality assurance for enterprise-scale software.
• Expertise developing and managing automated test scripts and test control databases.
• Extensive Release Management experience overseeing IT infrastructure baselines.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and document technical reports and process workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or LangChain-based AI testing.
• Jira defect tracking and workflow management experience.
• GitLab CI/CD and version control experience.
• Testing data-heavy applications involving Spark or Databricks.
• Government contracting experience or ISTQB and ITIL certifications.
