Senior Staff AI Scientist (NLP)

What you will do

• Build and deploy machine learning models using analytical algorithms and deep learning approaches.
• Define success criteria with stakeholders and align model metrics with business goals.
• Lead the technical work of a scrum team, including model solutions, end-to-end architecture, code quality, design, cost, and implementation standards.
• Perform hands-on data analysis, ETL, data cleaning, feature engineering, and modeling with large datasets.
• Apply data mining, NLP, supervised and unsupervised learning, causal ML, online learning, Bayesian learning, reinforcement learning, and deep learning.
• Run A/B tests, communicate results, support solution integration, and research new ML technologies.

Requirements

• 6+ years of industry experience in AI science.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or an equivalent field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with multiple ML paradigms, including causal, supervised or unsupervised, online, Bayesian, reinforcement, or deep learning.
• Expertise in optimization, NLP, Explainable AI, ML frameworks, and end-to-end reusable data pipelines.
• Proficiency with programming languages and analytical tools such as Python, Scala, Java, R, SQL, Hive, and SparkSQL.
• Strong communication skills, independence, adaptability, and comfort working in a Linux environment.
