Senior Data Scientist Manager (AI)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota; in-office at least four days per week with flexibility to work from home one day per week. Applicants must have valid U.S. work authorization and must not require current or future visa sponsorship.

Base salary: $131,000–$180,100 per year, with potential variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and implement AI, machine learning, statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling solutions for Service and Operations analytics.
• Translate ambiguous business needs into analytical approaches, success measures, hypotheses, and actionable recommendations.
• Own the data science lifecycle from data exploration and feature engineering through model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
• Lead the strategy and enhancement of a field-facing recommendation engine supporting personalization, prioritization, and business decisions.
• Apply data, model, and responsible AI governance standards, including validation, documentation, and performance monitoring.
• Advance data science practices, identify scalable automation opportunities, mentor peers, and deliver measurable business impact.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics, economics, or another quantitative discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience delivering advanced analytics, machine learning, or applied AI solutions.
• Strong foundation in statistics, predictive modeling, and machine learning, with experience using Python, SQL, ML frameworks, and data visualization tools.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, preferably AWS or Snowflake, and the ability to deliver production-ready solutions independently.
• Ability to communicate complex technical materials to business partners, support multiple projects, and collaborate effectively.
• Must work in the Minneapolis office at least four days per week and already hold U.S. work authorization without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs, agents, RAG, and traditional AI techniques.
• Familiarity with MLOps, model CI/CD, and production monitoring.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets, operations analytics, or call analytics.
• Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
