TL;DR
Manufacturing Engineer (CNC): Supporting and improving machining operations, CNC equipment, manufacturing processes, and NC programming with an accent on process efficiency, equipment reliability, tooling, and production quality. Focus on implementing engineering changes, solving chronic equipment and process issues through root cause analysis, applying Lean methods, and optimizing CNC machining from concept through production.
Location: Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon, Mexico; onsite, five days per week with occasional weekend work required

What you will do
- Provide engineering guidance and technical problem resolution for day-to-day machining operations.
- Evaluate and implement process, equipment, tooling, and manufacturing improvements affecting safety, quality, cost, throughput, and delivery.
- Monitor equipment and process reliability, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for chronic issues.
- Analyze and execute engineering change notices and support manufacturing equipment planning, operation, and maintenance.
- Apply Lean manufacturing tools to reduce waste, improve flow, and establish standard work.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and leadership teams while ensuring safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing concepts, machining processes, production systems, cast iron machining, tooling selection, fixturing, and work holding.
- Experience supporting or operating Mazak, Heller, Okuma, and/or Makino CNC machines.
- Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, engineering drawings, CNC programming with G-code, and CAM software; NX is preferred.
- Experience with cutting tool selection and optimization, calibration, precision measurement instruments, data-driven decision-making, and structured problem solving.
- Advanced English proficiency is required for cross-site and global collaboration. Up to 25% travel may be required.
