What you will do
- Lead the development and execution of statistical analysis plans for large-scale real-world evidence studies.
- Oversee, mentor, and review the work of junior analysts while improving RWD analytics workflows.
- Build trusted relationships with client counterparts and provide strategic recommendations based on analytical findings.
- Develop automated tools and workflows, applying advanced analytics and machine learning to complex healthcare datasets.
- Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting tools for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data scientists, epidemiologists, statisticians, and external stakeholders to integrate multiple data sources.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in RWD analytics, biostatistics, epidemiology, or a related field, including at least 3 years in leadership or consulting.
- Experience managing complex observational research projects in life sciences or healthcare using claims data, EMR, or other large health databases.
- Expertise in SAS programming and advanced proficiency in SQL, R, and Python.
- Knowledge of the US healthcare system, health insurance claims data, and electronic medical records.
- Experience with advanced statistical methods, machine learning, database management, data wrangling, and data integration.
- Master’s or PhD in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of MATLAB, Hadoop, or Spark.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or D3.
