Data Science Consultant (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid work in Hamburg or Berlin, Germany. Flex-time is available, with the option to work from abroad for up to 30 calendar days per year.

What you will do

• Maintain and further develop healthcare ranking and rating databases for consistency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Contribute to benchmarking and custom quality projects, including metric development, scoring, results analysis, and client collaboration.
• Integrate, clean, standardize, and validate datasets from hospitals, ministries, and external partners.
• Develop data models and scoring frameworks with Healthcare Analysis and IT teams.
• Support the Unified Health Database and future Healthcare Data Platform.
• Improve data quality, reproducibility, reporting, and analytical workflow automation through peer review and internal QA.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, modeling, or applied statistics within healthcare, pharma, or life sciences in a client-facing role.
• Proven skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, including dashboard design and data storytelling.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
• Fluent English required; German is an advantage.
