What you will do

• Design, build, and scale Data Marketplace capabilities across APIs, services, and user-facing workflows.
• Lead medium-to-large technical initiatives from design through production rollout.
• Make architecture and implementation decisions for marketplace discovery, activation, monetization, and partner integrations.
• Improve reliability, observability, performance, testing, and operational excellence across production systems.
• Translate product requirements into pragmatic technical solutions with Product, Design, Infrastructure, and engineering teams.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, document technical decisions, and contribute to AI-forward marketplace experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience with scalable distributed systems, APIs, and data-intensive applications.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Go, Java, or Python, with the ability to contribute to backend-heavy or full-stack projects.
• Experience driving projects from concept to launch and influencing technical direction across teams.
• Strong communication skills and a focus on code quality, testing, maintainability, and operational excellence.

Nice to have

• TypeScript and React experience for customer-facing product development.
• Cloud-native infrastructure experience with Kubernetes or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with event-driven or streaming systems, background job orchestration, and distributed data workflows.
• Experience in AdTech, MarTech, data marketplaces, or privacy-conscious data products.
• Experience building 0-to-1 capabilities, modernizing legacy systems, or developing AI-enabled product experiences.
