What you will do

• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to translate business requirements into working cloud-native software on AWS.
• Develop responsive frontend interfaces (React, Next.js, Vue) and scalable backend services (Python, TypeScript, Java).
• Engineer GenAI solutions, including RAG pipelines and conversational interfaces, using hirify.global Bedrock.
• Design and implement AI agent architectures and multi-agent systems using orchestration frameworks and emerging protocols (MCP, A2A).
• Champion agentic software development by using AI-powered coding assistants and agentic IDEs to accelerate delivery.
• Guide customer and partner teams on engineering practices and architectural decisions through code reviews and mentoring.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience building full-stack applications.
• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• Proven experience building applications that integrate generative AI or LLM capabilities (RAG, agent workflows).
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of the software development workflow.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Location: Must be based in Perth, Sydney, or Melbourne, Australia.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with multi-agent systems, orchestration patterns, and emerging protocols.
• Experience with vector and Graph databases, embedding pipelines, and prompt engineering.
• Background in API design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and identity protocols (OAuth 2.0).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, hirify.global ECS, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring practices (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Datadog).
