Customer Service Representative - CSEA (Remote) (Insurance)

Location: Remote - New York, United States

Pay: $17.50 hourly

What you will do

• Provide customer service by phone to insureds, carriers, and clients.
• Answer questions and resolve issues related to coverage, claims, costs, and billing.
• Research inquiries and refer complex issues for resolution when necessary.
• Maintain accurate customer service notes and update records in the administration system.
• Process new business and policy transactions, correct company records, and handle requests received by mail, fax, and email.
• Mail specified forms and route completed forms for processing while supporting business retention.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of relevant customer service or call center experience.
• Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and related software.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and maintain accurate records.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, healthcare, or a similar industry.
• Ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking customers.
