Software Engineer (C/C++)

What you will do

• Build diagnostic products and tools from the ground up for commercial truck systems.
• Learn and analyze vehicle bus protocols, including undocumented message formats and purposes.
• Maintain, update, and develop diagnostic protocols using C#, C, and C++.
• Write and support unit and UI tests, troubleshoot malfunctions, and optimize application performance.
• Design interfaces, collaborate with product development on new features, and maintain quality across new and legacy applications.
• Research emerging technologies, products, applications, and diagnostic protocols.

Requirements

• 0–4 years of experience with C#, C, or C++.
• Experience with software development, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Knowledge of protocol languages or vehicle communication protocols, or the ability to learn them.
• Experience with interface design.
• Strong decision-making, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
