Embedded Software Engineer (C/C++)

Location: Full-time onsite work at the Mossville, Illinois office, five days per week. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.

Salary: $97,530–$146,290 per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and enhance system diagnostics and IO processing software for new product programs.
• Translate high-level customer requirements into detailed software specifications.
• Design electronic control systems and their input/output components for compatibility and diagnostic strategy development.
• Test, debug, and optimize embedded software using appropriate tools and methods.
• Identify, resolve, and manage software defects and issue submissions.
• Collaborate with worldwide teams across multiple organizations and functions to resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field.
• Understanding of embedded programming in C or C++ and experience with Matlab/Simulink.
• Strong foundation in embedded system software development, validation, and diagnostics.
• Knowledge of requirements analysis, software development, technical troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Detail-oriented, self-starting approach with a proven record of achievement.
• Ability to work cooperatively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical information effectively.
